Wath is Encaustic...

The word encaustic originates from the Greek word enkaustikos which means to burn in, and this element of heat is necessary for a painting to be called encaustic.

Encaustic painting, also know as hot wax painting, involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added.

Preferably I paint with Kussmaul colors that are hand-poured with special positive astrological aspects, that ancient knowledge in alchemy.

These colors have their own own explanatory power, a high-quality energy  sources, quite apart from their specific intensity in color and brightness.
